Delete your data

You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, in under a minute. Nothing is kept “just in case”.

In the app

1. Open Larkabout and go to Settings → Account.
2. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate. It removes your account and your saved places, and unlinks the record of your questions to the assistant from you. It cannot be undone. You can keep using the map, search and place cards afterwards without an account.

Just want to share less?

Keep your account and switch off usage analytics, install attribution or advertising measurement: open Settings → Privacy & consent in Larkabout. It takes effect when you save.

By email

No longer have the app, or cannot sign in? Email privacy@parentapp.net from the address you signed up with (or tell us which sign-in you used — Apple, Google or email). We delete the account within one month and confirm by email.

Paying for a subscription?

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

What is not deleted

The record of your questions to the assistant stays, with no link to you, until its 12 months run out — it is how we count what the assistant costs. Records that Apple keeps about your purchases stay with Apple under Apple’s own rules. How long we keep everything: Privacy Policy, section 8.
